Premier League (Week 3) : Sunderland and Swansea play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Aug. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 3: The match between Sunderland and Swansea ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Swansea players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French forward Gomis Bafetimbi in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sunderland with a saving goal from Sunderland forward Jermain Defoe in the 62nd minute.
Swansea City remains in 6th place with 5 points from 3 games, one point behind Liverpool, which has a game in hand.
