ENGLAND, Aug. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 2: After their 2-2 draw against Chelsea on August 8, Swansea returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle this Saturday.
Swansea dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Gomis Bafetimbi in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Swansea players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ayew in the 52nd minute.
Swansea City climbed to fourth place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with Everton.
