Premier League (Week 8) : Sunderland hold West Ham to 2-2
ENGLAND, Oct. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 8: West Ham was held to a 2-2 draw by Sunderland on Saturday.
Sunderland players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Fletcher ('10) and Lens Jeremain ('22) while West Ham only scored once Jenkinson ('45). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by West Ham with a saving goal from French forward Dimitri Payet in the 60th minute.
West Ham United are down in fifth place with 14 points from 8 games, one point behind Leicester City.
