Premier League (Week 8) : Southampton beats Chelsea 3-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Southampton. After their 3-1 win against Swansea on September 26, the Saints continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over Chelsea this Saturday.
Chelsea midfielder Willian Da Silva opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Southampton catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Steven Davis. 1-1 at half time. The Saints eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Mane Sadio ('60) and Pellè ('72).
Southampton climbed to 9th place with 12 points from 8 games, tie on points with Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
