ENGLAND, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 7: After losing 2-3 to Manchester United on September 20, the Saints returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Swansea this Saturday.
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Van Dijk Virgil in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Tadic '54 and Mane Sadio '61).
Southampton climbed to 9th place with 9 points from 7 games, tie on points with Everton, which has a game in hand.
