ENGLAND, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 7: The Citizens crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 4-1 against Tottenham.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne opened the score in the 25th minute, before seeing Tottenham catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Eric Dier. 1-1 at half time. The Spurs eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Alderweireld ('50), Kane ('61) and Lamela ('79).

Manchester City FC remains in first place with 15 points from 7 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Manchester United FC, which has a game in hand.
