ENGLAND, Nov. 23, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 13: After losing 6-2 to Everton on November 7 and 0-1 to Southampton on November 7, the Rokerites returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace this Monday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Sunderland forward Jermain Defoe with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Crystal Palace are down in 10th place with 19 points from 13 games, one point behind Liverpool.
