ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 18: After losing 2-3 to Leicester on December 19, the Toffees bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley in stoppage time.
Everton climbed to 9th place with 26 points from 18 games, only one point behind Liverpool.
