Premier League (Week 18) : Aston Villa and West Ham play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 18: The match between Aston Villa and West Ham ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
West Ham players started off well by taking the lead thanks to West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Aston Villa with a saving goal from Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew on penalty in the 62nd minute.
West Ham United are down in 9th place with 26 points from 18 games, one point behind Liverpool.
