Premier League (Week 19) : West Ham defeats Southampton 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 19: After five straigth draws, the Hammers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Southampton this Monday.
Southampton had started off well by taking the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Serbian forward Dusan Tadic. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Hammers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Antonio '69 and Carroll '79).
West Ham United climbed to 7th place with 29 points from 19 games, only one point behind Manchester United FC.
