Premier League (Week 19) : Arsenal defeats Bournemouth 2-0
ENGLAND, Dec. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 19: After losing 4-0 to Southampton on December 26, the Gunners returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth this Monday.
Arsenal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian defender Gabriel Paulista in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gunners further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Özil in the 63rd minute.
Arsenal climbed to first place with 39 points from 19 games, one point ahead of runner-up Leicester City, which has a game in hand.
