Premier League (Week 21) : Southampton beats Watford 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 21: After losing 2-1 to West Ham on January 2 and 1-0 to Norwich City on January 2, the Saints bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Watford this Wednesday.
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Irish forward Shane Long in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Tadic in the 73rd minute.
Watford FC are down in 11st place with 29 points from 21 games, one point behind West Bromwich Albion.
