ENGLAND, Feb. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 26: After their 2-2 draw against Sunderland on February 6, the Reds bounced back with a 6-0 victory over Aston Villa this Sunday.
Liverpool dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sturridge ('16) and Milner ('25). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Can '58, Origi '63, Clyne '65 and Toure Kolo '71).
Liverpool climbed to 7th place with 38 points from 26 games, 2 points behind Southampton.
