ENGLAND, Feb. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Southampton. After their 1-0 win against West Ham on February 6, the Saints continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Swansea this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Irish forward Shane Long in the 69th minute.
Southampton remains in 6th place with 40 points from 26 games, one point behind Manchester United FC.
