Premier League (Week 31) : Stoke City defeats Watford 2-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 31: After losing 1-2 to Southampton on March 12, Stoke City returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Watford this Saturday.
Stoke City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Walters Jonathan in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stoke City players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mato Sanmartin Joselu in the 51st minute.
Stoke City climbed to 7th place with 46 points from 31 games, only one point behind Manchester United FC, which has two games in hand.
