Premier League (Week 31) : Southampton beats Liverpool 3-2
ENGLAND, Mar. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 31: Two wins in a row for Southampton. After their 1-2 win against Stoke City on March 12, the Saints continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 3-2 victory over Liverpool this Sunday.
Mane Sadio scored dual goals
Liverpool had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Coutinho ('17) and Sturridge ('22). Trailing 2-0 at half time, the Saints nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Mane Sadio '64, '86 and Pellè '83).
Southampton remains in 7th place with 47 points from 31 games, tie on points with Manchester United FC, which has two games in hand.
