Premier League (Week 34) : Newcastle beats Swansea 3-0
ENGLAND, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 34: After losing 3-2 to Norwich City on April 9 and 3-1 to Southampton on April 9, the Magpies returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Swansea this Saturday.
Newcastle dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Jamaal Lascelles in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Magpies further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Sissoko '82 and Townsend '89).
Swansea City are down in 15th place with 40 points from 34 games, one point behind AFC Bournemouth, which has a game in hand.
