ENGLAND, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 35: The match between Liverpool and Newcastle ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Liverpool players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Sturridge ('2) and Lallana ('30). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Newcastle with goals by Cisse Papiss ('48) and Jack Colback ('66).
Liverpool climbed to 6th place with 55 points from 34 games, 4 points behind Manchester United FC.
