ENGLAND, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Stoke City. After their 2-0 win against Sunderland on October 15, Stoke City continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Hull this Saturday.
Xherdan Shaqiri scored dual goals
Stoke City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Swiss midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stoke City players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Shaqiri in the 50th minute.
Stoke City climbed to 16th place with 9 points from 9 games, only one point behind West Ham United.
