Premier League (Week 9) : Burnley beats Everton 2-1
ENGLAND, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 9: After losing 0-1 to Arsenal on October 16 and 3-1 to Southampton on October 16, Burnley returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Everton this Saturday.
Burnley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Welsh forward Sam Vokes in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Burnley players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Arfield seconds before the end of regulation.
Everton remains in 6th place with 15 points from 9 games, one point behind Chelsea, which has a game in hand.
