ENGLAND, Oct. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 8: After their 0-0 draw against Leicester on October 2, the Saints returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Burnley this Sunday.
Charlie Austin scored dual goals
Burnley made Southampton doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Austin ('52, '66 on penalty) and Redmond ('60).
Southampton climbed to 8th place with 12 points from 8 games, only one point behind Manchester United FC, which has a game in hand.
