Premier League (Week 18) : Man Utd defeats Sunderland 3-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 18: Four wins in a row for Manchester United. After their success against Tottenham, Crystal Palace and West Brom, the Red Devils continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over Sunderland this Monday.
Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dutch defender Daley Blind in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ibrahimovic '82 and Mkhitaryan '86).
Manchester United FC remains in 6th place with 33 points from 18 games, tie on points with Tottenham Hotspur, which has a game in hand.
