Premier League (Week 18) : Liverpool beats Stoke City 4-1

ENGLAND, Dec. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 18: Three wins in a row for Liverpool. After their success against Middlesbrough and Everton, the Reds continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 4-1 victory over Stoke City this Tuesday.

Stoke City opened the score in the score in the 12th minute thanks to Walters Jonathan, before Liverpool regained the advantage with Lallana ('35) and Firmino Roberto ('44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Reds further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Imbula '59/own and Sturridge '70).

Liverpool remains in second place with 40 points from 18 games, 6 points behind Chelsea.
