Premier League (Week 19) : West Brom defeats Southampton 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 19: After losing 0-2 to Manchester United on December 26 and 1-0 to Arsenal on December 26, the Throstles returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Southampton this Saturday.
Southampton forward Shane Long opened the score in the 41st minute, before seeing West Brom catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Matt Phillips. 1-1 at half time. The Throstles eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Robson-Kanu in the 50th minute.
West Bromwich Albion climbed to 8th place with 26 points from 19 games, only one point behind Everton.
