Premier League (Week 19) : Arsenal defeats Crystal Palace 2-0
ENGLAND, Jan. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Arsenal. After their 1-0 win against West Brom on December 26, the Gunners continued their sensational form in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace this Sunday.
Arsenal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Olivier Giroud in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gunners further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Iwobi in the 56th minute.
Arsenal climbed to third place with 40 points from 19 games, 3 points behind Liverpool.
