Premier League (Week 23) : Liverpool and Chelsea tied at 1-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 31, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 23: The match between actual leader Chelsea and Liverpool ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Chelsea players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian defender David Luiz in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Liverpool with a saving goal from Wijnaldum Georginio in the 57th minute.
Chelsea remains in first place with 56 points from 23 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up Tottenham Hotspur.
