Premier League (Week 25) : Southampton defeats Sunderland 4-0
ENGLAND, Feb. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 25: After losing 2-1 to Swansea on February 4 and 1-3 to West Ham on February 4, the Saints returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Sunderland this Saturday.
Manolo Gabbiadini scored dual goals
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gabbiadini ('30, '45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Denayer Jason '89/own and Long '90).
Southampton climbed to 11st place with 30 points from 25 games, 2 points behind West Ham United.
