Premier League (Week 24) : West Ham defeats Southampton 3-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 24: After losing 0-4 to Manchester City on February 1, the Hammers bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Southampton this Saturday.
Southampton opened the score in the score in the 12th minute thanks to Manolo Gabbiadini, before West Ham regained the advantage with Carroll ('14) and Obiang Pedro ('44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Hammers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Davis into his own net in the 52nd minute.
West Ham United climbed to 9th place with 31 points from 24 games, 5 points behind West Bromwich Albion.
