Premier League (Week 31) : Southampton beats Crystal Palace 3-1

ENGLAND, Apr. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 31: After their 0-0 draw against Bournemouth on April 1, the Saints bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace this Wednesday.

Crystal Palace forward Christian Benteke opened the score in the 31st minute, before seeing Southampton catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Nathan Redmond. 1-1 at half time. The Saints eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Yoshida ('84) and Ward-Prowse ('85).

Southampton climbed to 9th place with 37 points from 29 games, 7 points behind West Bromwich Albion.
