ENGLAND, Apr. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 34: After two straigth victories against Stoke City and West Brom, the Reds lost 2-1 against Crystal Palace.

Christian Benteke scored dual goals

Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho opened the score in the 24th minute, before seeing Crystal Palace catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Christian Benteke. 1-1 at half time. The Eagles eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Benteke in the 74th minute.

Liverpool remains in third place with 66 points from 34 games, 5 points behind Tottenham Hotspur, which has two games in hand.
