Premier League (Week 36) : Man City beats Crystal Palace 5-0

ENGLAND, May. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 36: After their 0-0 draw against Manchester United on April 30 and 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough on April 30, the Citizens returned to winning ways with a 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace this Saturday.

Manchester City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder David Silva in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Citizens further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Kompany '49, De Bruyne Kevin '59, Sterling '82 and Otamendi Nicolas '90).

Manchester City FC climbed to third place with 69 points from 35 games, 8 points behind Tottenham Hotspur.
