Premier League (Week 37) : Southampton defeats Boro 2-1
ENGLAND, May. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 37: After losing 0-2 to Arsenal on May 10, the Saints returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough this Saturday.
Southampton dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Jay Rodriguez in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Saints further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Redmond in the 57th minute.
Southampton climbed to 9th place with 45 points from 36 games, tie on points with West Bromwich Albion.
