ENGLAND, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 17: After losing 1-0 to Southampton on December 14 and 0-3 to Liverpool on December 14, the Smoggies returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Swansea this Saturday.

Álvaro Negredo scored dual goals

Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to goals from Negredo ('18, '29 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by De Roon Marten in the 58th minute.

Middlesbrough FC climbed to 14th place with 18 points from 17 games, only one point behind West Ham United.
