ENGLAND, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Premier League / Match day 9: After their 2-2 draw against Newcastle on October 15, the Saints bounced back with a 1-0 victory over West Brom this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by French midfielder Sofiane Boufal with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Southampton climbed to 10th place with 12 points from 9 games, only one point behind Burnley.
