PORTUGAL, Aug. 24, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 2: After losing 2-0 to Rio Ave on August 17, the Sadinos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Gil Vicente this Sunday.
Vitoria Setubal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Pedro in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Sadinos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Schmidt on penalty in the 77th minute.
Vitoria FC climbed to 9th place with 3 points from 2 games, tie on points with Moreirense FC, which has a game in hand.
