Primeira Liga (Week 6) : Sporting and Porto play to a 1-1 draw

PORTUGAL, Sep. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 6: Porto was held to a 1-1 draw by Sporting Lisbon on Friday.

Sporting Lisbon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Argentine defender Silva in the 2nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Porto with a saving goal from French defender Mouhamadou Sarr into his own net in the 56th minute.

FC Porto climbed to second place with 12 points from 6 games, only one point behind SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
