Primeira Liga (Week 11) : Braga beats Penafiel 6-1
PORTUGAL, Nov. 29, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Braga. After their 2-0 win against Gil Vicente on November 8, the Arcebispos continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 6-1 victory over Penafiel this Saturday.
Braga dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rafa ('13) and Santos ('44). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Arcebispos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Pardo '55, Pinto '59, Carlos '73 and Sami '81).
SG Braga climbed to fourth place with 21 points from 11 games, only one point behind FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
