PORTUGAL, Dec. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 12: Four wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Rio Ave, Nacional and Académica Coimbra, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Belenenses this Saturday.
Belenenses made Benfica doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Lima ('64), Pérez ('70 on penalty) and Salvio ('83).
SL Benfica remains in first place with 31 points from 12 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Vitoria SC, which has a game in hand.
