PORTUGAL, Dec. 14, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 13: Five wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Rio Ave, Nacional, Académica Coimbra and Belenenses, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Porto this Sunday.
Lima scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Lima in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Lima in the 56th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 34 points from 13 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up FC Porto.
