Primeira Liga (Week 13) : Penafiel beats Nacional 2-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Penafiel. After their 0-1 win against Arouca on December 7, the Rubro-Negros continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Nacional this Saturday.
Penafiel dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Colombian defender Quinones in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rubro-Negros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Rabiola in the 48th minute.
CD Nacional are down in 13rd place with 12 points from 13 games, one point behind Boavista FC.
