PORTUGAL, Dec. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 12: After losing 0-1 to Belenenses on November 28 and 2-1 to Vitoria Guimaraes on November 28, the Verdes-e-Brancos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Sunday.
Moreirense dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder André Simões in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Verdes-e-Brancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Battaglia with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Paços de Ferreira remains in 7th place with 19 points from 12 games, 2 points behind CF Os Belenenses.
