Primeira Liga (Week 6) : Estoril beats União 2-1
PORTUGAL, Sep. 27, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 6: Three wins in a row for Estoril. After their success against Braga and Tondela, the Canaries continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over União da Madeira this Sunday.
Estoril dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Léo Bonatini in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Canaries further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cesar Bruno in the 75th minute.
GD Estoril Praia climbed to fourth place with 12 points from 6 games, tie on points with SL Benfica.
