PORTUGAL, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 6: After losing 1-0 to Porto on September 20, the Eagles bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Saturday.
Jonas scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Jonas in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Guedes '67 and Jonas '73).
SL Benfica remains in third place with 12 points from 6 games, one point behind Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
