PORTUGAL, Oct. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their 5-1 win against Vitoria Guimaraes on October 4, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-0 victory over Benfica this Sunday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Gutierrez Teofilo ('9), Islam Slimani ('21) and Ruiz Bryan ('36).
Sporting Clube de Portugal climbed to first place with 20 points from 8 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
