PORTUGAL, Oct. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 8: The match between Vitoria Guimaraes and Académica Coimbra ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Vitoria Guimaraes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Vitoria Guimaraes forward Tomane in the 16th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Académica Coimbra with a saving goal from Académica Coimbra forward Lopes Rafael in the 66th minute.
Vitoria SC climbed to 13rd place with 7 points from 8 games, only one point behind CS Maritimo.
