PORTUGAL, Oct. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Paços de Ferreira. After their 3-1 win against Nacional on October 3, the Beavers continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Maritimo this Saturday.
Paços de Ferreira dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ghanaian forward Barnes Osei in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Beavers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jota in the 48th minute.
FC Paços de Ferreira climbed to fourth place with 14 points from 8 games, tie on points with Rio Ave FC, which has a game in hand.
