PORTUGAL, Oct. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 7: After their 0-0 draw against Boavista on September 26, the Sportinguistas returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes this Sunday.
Islam Slimani scored tripple goals
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Slimani ('12) and Gutierrez Teofilo ('24). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Slimani '58, '78 and Silva Adrien '60).
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in second place with 17 points from 7 games, tie on points with FC Porto.
