Primeira Liga (Week 9) : Académica and Moreirense play out 1-1 draw
PORTUGAL, Nov. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 9: The match between Académica Coimbra and Moreirense ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Académica Coimbra players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Nigerian midfielder Obiora Nwankwo in the 16th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Moreirense with a saving goal from Moreirense forward Ença Fati in the 90th minute.
Académica Coimbra remains in 17th place with 5 points from 9 games, tie on points with CD Tondela.
