PORTUGAL, Nov. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 10: After their 1-1 draw against Académica Coimbra on November 1, the Verdes-e-Brancos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Sunday.
Moreirense dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Iuri Medeiros in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Verdes-e-Brancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Battaglia Rodrigo with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Paços de Ferreira are down in 8th place with 14 points from 10 games, tie on points with CS Maritimo.
