Primeira Liga (Week 10) : Benfica beats Boavista 2-0
PORTUGAL, Nov. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 10: Two wins in a row for Benfica. After their 0-4 win against Tondela on October 30, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 victory over Boavista this Sunday.
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Gonçalo Guedes in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Carcela-gonzalez Mehdi with one minute left in regular time.
SL Benfica climbed to second place with 18 points from 9 games, 5 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal.
